Hotel information
A range of luxurious bedrooms and suites make up the accommodation options here, with a choice of modern or traditional interior design.
Many of the guestrooms offer breathtaking views out over the picturesque grounds, so every glance out of the window is a reminder of your magnificent location.
Gleneagles is renowned as one of the UK’s premier golfing destinations, and there are few finer or more prestigious destinations to play a round. The resort has hosted plenty of major tournaments – including the 2014 Ryder Cup – so stepping onto the green here means walking in the footsteps of golfing icons. A quartet of courses, three at Championship-level, offer a combined 63 holes (with two nineteenth holes), showcased year-round with the calendar of golf tournaments and events. Those keen to brush up on their swing can head to the Pitch & Putt course or putting green before hitting the fairways.
Away from the pristine greens, there’s a staggering array of activities on offer for non-golf lovers. Classic country pursuits include riding at the equestrian centre, lawn croquet, shooting, canoeing, archery and fishing. For something a little different, why not opt for zip lining, a Segway tour or a wildlife photography course? There’s also the award-winning spa – the only one in Scotland designated a Luxury Spa Resort – should some extra pampering be in order, and dining at Scotland’s only restaurant to hold two Michelin Stars.
As well as being an ideal destination for a romantic escape or a solo getaway, Gleneagles is a fantastic choice for a family holiday; ask our Travel Specialists about family break packages during school holidays. The supervised creche Little Glen welcomes young guests aged 2-9, while The Den offers a space to chill out and play for 6 to 15-year-olds.
