Market Chef - The Conrad Algarve Executive Chef will take you to Loule Market where you will be given a brief explanation of the market, it’s history and ingredients produced and sold by local farmers and fishermen. You will be given the day’s recipe and then you will join the chef to go off and find the ingredients on the market. After your shopping spree, you will stop at a wine shop to experience a port tasting and the chance to buy great local wines. To finish the market tour the chef will take you to a “pastelaria” for a coffee and indulge in some typical Portuguese pastries. You will return to the hotel approximately for your cataplana cooking class on the Louro terrace, after which you will then enjoy a lunch of your own cataplana.
