Hotel information
Hotel Castello di Reschio is set within a meticulously transformed Italian castle that dates back to the year 1050. The historical figures that have called this magnificent building their home have informed the design, with each of the 36 rooms taking inspiration from former residents.
The character of the ancient estate is still elegant, chic, and regal. The history and beauty of the region have been incorporated into every design choice. Locally sourced materials are found throughout the castle hotel, resulting in an authentic mixture of terracotta flooring, marble finishes and rich fabrics. Then, to top it off, through every window there are enchanting views of the romantic countryside.
You can also immerse yourself into the Umbrian countryside and explore the local vineyards, ride purebred Spanish horses from the estate stables, or pick delicious home-grown produce in the gardens. The produce grown on the estate creates a haven for foodies. Vegetables, olive oil, truffles and fresh fish are all sourced on-site, and the two hotel restaurants are impeccable.
There is so much to see and do in the surrounding area. You could choose to get active with tennis, biking and clay pigeon shooting, or descend into the castle’s cellars to discover a stunning bathhouse featuring a plunge pool and a relaxing heated cave.
The romantic landscape makes Hotel Castello di Reschio great for couples looking to escape, or for those looking to add to an Italy or Tuscany itinerary. Also well-suited to families, the hotel has dedicated menus, a babysitting service, kids’ horseback riding, painting classes and even cookery lessons. However you want to experience this stunning part of Italy, our Travel Specialist are waiting to take your call and tailor-make your next luxury holiday.
