Full accommodation information

Authenticity and luxury are central to the experience of a Castelfalfi stay, immersing you in the heart of Tuscany and surrounding you with all that makes this region of Italy so revered.

Within an hour’s transfer of a number of airports, the hotel is set in a 2,700 acre estate comprising Tuscany’s largest golf course, 25 hectares of vineyards and 40 hectares of organic olive groves.

Commanding views of the rolling hills, a medieval castle and ancient church, Castelfalfi has 146 rooms and suites across a modern building and a 1900s tobacco warehouse. Interiors give the feel of a countryside retreat, where modern Italian styling and earthy neutral tones create a sense of place.

Experiences are designed to give you a Tuscan experience too, whether it’s pizza making and wine tasting, Vespa rides or truffle hunting. At the spa, foraged herbs and oil from the estate’s groves are used in holistic treatments, alongside more unusual therapies thanks to a partnership with RAKxa Wellness.

Of course the six restaurants also have their eye on showcasing the region, sourcing local ingredients to craft Mediterranean dishes steeped in history and honouring the harvest of fruits, olives, honey and wines grown around the hotel.

The heated outdoor pools and amenities for young guests – including a kids’ club and an onsite adventure park – ensure Castelfalfi’s place as a Tuscan retreat for families as well as couples, not forgetting of course, a superb destination for golfers.

The hotel offers accommodation across 146 rooms, of which there are four signature suites and 20 suites. Set across two buildings, the interior design of the rooms in the tobacco warehouse is more traditional in Tuscan style, while the modern building is home to contemporary-designed rooms and suites. Luxurious amenities across all room types include a Dyson hair dryer, a mini-bar and welcome treats, and connecting rooms are available in most of the room and suite types. Eight rooms have been designated as suitable for guests requiring enhanced accessibility.

The whole family can get into nature together at the Castelfalfi Adventure Park which has trails for all ages, including a tree-top village. Complementary activities include archery, falconry and survival experiences.

The team behind Castelfalfi are committed to minimising the hotel’s impact on the environment, introducing environmentally sensitive changes where possible. These include collecting rainwater in artificial lakes to allow eco-friendly irrigation of the golf courses, vineyards and olive groves; producing organic wines and extra virgin olive oils; building a biomass power plant to provide green energy; ensuring the golf club is GEO Certified™; and discouraging the use of plastic and, where possible, recycling used materials.
