The hotel offers accommodation across 146 rooms, of which there are four signature suites and 20 suites. Set across two buildings, the interior design of the rooms in the tobacco warehouse is more traditional in Tuscan style, while the modern building is home to contemporary-designed rooms and suites. There is just one Family Suite Terrace at the hotel, with two bedrooms (both with a king-size bed) and a sofa bed; making it an ideal space for a family or small group. Views from the terrace are of the Tuscan countryside.

Olivina

This fine dining bistro inside the main hotel building offers a “fully immersive Tuscan dining experience”. A showcase for the region’s finest offerings and a theatrical space, you can peruse the wine room, salumeria, coffee bar, bakery and show kitchen; an invitation to taste the flavours of Italy at breakfast and dinner.

Bar Ecrù & Lounge

This chic lobby bar and lounge boasts a panoramic terrace from which to enjoy the view with a glass from the estate’s vineyard accompanied by the sound of live music. Open for lunch, it’s also a dreamy spot for a light afternoon meal or Italian coffee.

Il Rosmarino

Open for dinner, this trattoria and steakhouse offers an inviting space to gorge on traditional Italian fare. Dishes are simple, comforting and utterly delicious; think crisp, wood-fired pizzas, handmade pastas laden in velvety sauces, and prime steak cooked in the Tuscan Fiorentina way.

Country ClubHouse

Tuck into lunch with a view of the region’s largest golf course at Castelfalfi’s Country ClubHouse. Healthy light bites and hearty dishes are served in what is one of the area’s oldest farmhouses, with views of the Mountain Course from the panoramic windows and al fresco terrace.

Giglio Blu

Chill with a cool drink or refuel with a light lunch at this al fresco pool bar and restaurant next to the hotel’s swimming pools set under the dappled shade of olive trees. On the menu are low-calorie, light dishes of salads, grilled meats and fish, served from 10am to 6pm with a view of the Cypress trees.

La Rocca

For private dining at Castelfalfi there is La Rocca, a medieval castle which can be booked to host your special event. Golf

The Castelfalfi Golf Club offers 9,400 metres of fairways to form the largest golf course in Tuscany. Surrounded by olive groves and vineyards the 27 holes are a dreamy setting to play a round, comprising a challenging 18-hole Mountain Course and 9-hole Lake Course.
Alongside the two courses the facilities here include a Clubhouse, golf academy (for kids and adults), and a Pro Shop for hiring and purchasing equipment. Environmentally-friendly maintenance techniques give the course a GEO Certified™ eco-label.

Spa & Fitness

The hotel is home to the RAKxa Wellness Spa where there is a focus on physical and spiritual wellbeing.
The facility includes heated indoor and outdoor swimming pools with whirlpool features, a sauna, biosauna, steam bath and sensory showers.
Treatments can be booked in seven rooms or two outdoor gazebos, and beauty treatments including manicures and hair styling are also on offer.
Fitness activities include padel, tennis, yoga, Pilates, archery, a climbing wall (at the Adventure Park) and personal training sessions in the hotel’s gym or outside.

Family Activities

Castelfalfi has excellent provision for families, with many of the featured activities ideal for children and their parents, such as pizza-making lessons or cycling tours around the estate.
The Falfy Kids Club is Montessori-inspired and has plenty to immerse younger guests in nature, with a vegetable garden and mini-farm. Inside the club, three to six-year-olds can discover multi-game tables and construction toys, while six to 12-year-olds enjoy multimedia games and traditional Tuscan cooking classes.
The whole family can get into nature together at the Castelfalfi Adventure Park which has trails for all ages, including a tree-top village. Complementary activities include archery, falconry and survival experiences.

The team behind Castelfalfi are committed to minimising the hotel’s impact on the environment, introducing environmentally sensitive changes where possible. These include collecting rainwater in artificial lakes to allow eco-friendly irrigation of the golf courses, vineyards and olive groves; producing organic wines and extra virgin olive oils; building a biomass power plant to provide green energy; ensuring the golf club is GEO Certified™; and discouraging the use of plastic and, where possible, recycling used materials.
