Hotel information
Caruso, A Belmond Hotel, Amalfi Coast is a stunning 11th Century palace perched 1,150ft above sea level overlooking the Amalfi coast. Recent renovations mean this is one of the area's most chic and upmarket hotels.
The highlight of this stunning cliff-top property is its outstanding infinity pool. Set against a backdrop of an awe-inspiring mountain range and overlooking the deep azure of the Mediterranean, guests are suspended between sea and sky as they try to digest their magnificent surroundings.
The hotel has devised a fantastic activity programme for children - they can learn the art of making pizza or create their own film trailers, and the whole family can enjoy Segway tours, sailing lessons or a visit to a local farm.
Guests can also enjoy complimentary access to a beach set in a secluded bay, which is only reachable by boat. Open daily between June and September, a shuttle whisks you from the hotel to Amalfi harbour, then you’ll sail to a secluded paradise by private boat.
Arrive on the pristine shores where private sun loungers, parasols and beach towels await. If you want to explore the coast, kayaks and windsurfer boards are available for an additional fee, while a traditional restaurant and beach bar provide refreshments throughout the day.
