Go snorkelling in the kaleidoscopic reefs surrounding Folegandros with ‘Dive In’. And embark on a guided hike through age-old pathways with a ‘Climb High’ activity. There are also electric bikes so you can head out an explore this beautiful island.

Sustainability Initiatives & Responsible Tourism

Gundari is certified by EarthCheck, meaning the hotel’s carbon footprint is checked regularly to help improve efficiency and reduce emissions. Bioclimatic materials were used in the making of the buildings, renewable solar energy is used for hot water and pool heating, and all the vehicles are 100% electric. In addition to this, there are smart centrally controlled energy systems and a low light pollution design – as well as a view to work towards zero waste and no single-use plastics.

This sustainable mindset has been at the core of the hotel’s ethos before construction started, with over 600 seedlings collected, nurtured and returned to regenerate the land with indigenous plants.
