Named after the constellations, these farmhouses are spacious, welcoming and hand-renovated by master artisans to be a haven of comfort. Sitting in the far northeast corner of the stables, this duplex-style suite features a lounge area downstairs and a bedroom and bathroom upstairs. The soft colours and excellent views are perfect for relaxing.

Junior Summer Suite

Utilising a bright summery colour palette, this duplex-style suite is found in the renovated stables and features a lounge downstairs and a bedroom and bathroom upstairs.

Junior Autumn Suite

With copper and beige tones mimicking the colours of Autumn, this duplex-style suite is found in the luxurious stables and comes with a lounge downstairs and a bedroom and bathroom upstairs.

Junior Winter Suite

With stark winter tones and design features, this duplex-style suite is found in the stables and is a perfect place to relax. The suite features a lounge downstairs and a bedroom and bathroom upstairs.

Signature Castle Suite

Slick, modern design is paramount in the Signature Castle Suite. The lavish bedroom is bathed in light from the windows and from the extraordinary “wall of water” photographic composition by Dieter Appelt.

Prestige Chateau Suite

Everything about this suite is designed to bring the bright sunlight inside. Along with a vast lounge, the bedroom features a glass ceiling from which a crystal chandelier illuminates the tiled sky.

Castle Suite

Bathed in blue and silver, these suites are designed to immerse you in the fascinating history of chiaroscuro. An intimate and cosy bedroom features glass ceiling that reveals the interior architecture of the tower.

Junior Suite Castle

This suite provides a lounge, a bedroom, a walk-in shower and a hidden dressing room. Each room can be shut off from the others to allow guests the pleasure of opening and discovering them.

Prestige Castle Room

Unicorn

This one-bedroom farmhouse is perfect for couples seeking an intimate, private getaway. Exclusive and unique with its stone walls, Unicorn overlooks the ponds.

Centaur

Located between two ponds, this two-bedroom farmhouse offers a palette of sand and driftwood tones. A vast lounge dining room opens onto a large fireplace and a wooden staircase with views that stretch on endlessly.

Cassiopeia

This two-bedroom farmhouse harbours a calm and peaceful atmosphere. Here you will find an open fireplace, a wine cellar and a dining room which invites you to sample local produce.

Serpentaire

This three-bedroom farmhouse accommodates up to six guests. Spacious and quiet, warm, and beautiful in the sunlight, Serpentaire opens onto an orchard that slopes downwards towards a serene pond.

Dragon

Dragon is a vast, luxurious farmhouse. Its five rooms can accommodate a total of 10 guests. It even has a real indoor waterfall reminiscent of Roman baths. The combination of wood, glass and stone creates a cosy setting.

Pegasus

This five-bedroom farmhouse is extremely spacious and can accommodate up to 10 guests. Bathed in sunlight, this cottage has incredible views of nature through its large windows and a large skylight.

There are a whole host of activities waiting to be discovered within the Château's walls. There's so much fascinating history waiting to be explored, as well as thermal baths of the wellness centre and Moulin des Etangs. There's an art gallery close to the hotel called La Laiterie, which hosts art, exhibitions and two gorgeous libraries. Dotted around the Domaine, you can also look out for stunning art pieces and installations as you explore.

Families visiting Domaine des Etangs have a fabulous children's play area with trampolines, zip wire, and climbing frames. Your kids will become chess champions on the giant chessboard, and for the younger members of your family, there is a babysitter service that you can call upon.

You can explore the forest, visit the farm and organic vegetable garden, discover the stunning flora and fauna on bike rides, including the Limousin cattle, believed to be one of the largest herds in France.

Take a horse out to explore the location on the roads or paths around the land or hike the 11km path around the Domaine. You could also spend a day enjoying boat trips and line fishing on the nearby ponds or visit an adventure park just 2km from the estate.
