Hotel information
Zemi Beach House Resort & Spa is set along one of Anguilla's most beautiful stretches of coastline; Shoal Bay East.
Combining a contemporary feel with a distinct sense of place, the interiors of this luxury boutique hotel are simple and chic, with natural woods and touches of subtle colour accenting the muted decor.
Dining is a delight, with the sophisticated Stone restaurant focussing on seasonal, farm-to-table produce prepared with Asian-influenced flavours. 20 Knots provides a more casual venue for breakfast, lunch or dinner, with an international menu featuring many Caribbean and Latin American fusion dishes. Diners at 20 Knots can enjoy their food in the chic indoor area, with its 32-foot high ceiling, or outside on the beach for a true feet-in-the-sand experience.
If it's an aperitif or nightcap you're in search of then the options are equally enticing. Try one of over 100 small-batch rums at the plush Rhum Room, or sip a quintessentially Caribbean cocktail at Shoal Bay Beach Club.
Spa
For indulgence and rejuvenation, look no further than Zemi Thai House Spa. Treatments here are inspired by ancient healing traditions of the native Taino people of Anguilla. Interiors are light-filled and feature beautiful organic materials, from white stone to dark woods. Outdoor spaces feature luscious nature and are an idyllic place to relax.
Children
Children aren't left out either with, with the complimentary Zemi Beach Kids' Club providing plenty of fun and thoughtful in-room amenities such as kids' bathrobes, toiletries and toys.
Sustainability Initiatives & Responsible Tourism
Zemi Beach House has adopted a sustainable attitude through their many sustainable initiatives and conservation efforts. All materials used are natural and locally sourced with sustainable hardwood floors paving the hotel interior. This extends to the roof which is designed to collect rainwater to be reused on the landscape, with energy efficiency ensured through the use of solar heat systems.
In the resort’s garden native plants are preserved, with excavated rocks and soil recycled for landfill and landscaping. On the nearby beach, a sea turtle nesting area is protected by the propane torches to reduce the impact on their habitat. In addition to this, the hotel’s restaurant offers local fish and seafood options to support local businesses.
