Hotel information
This 25-acre resort is set right on the Caribbean Sea with spectacular views from its elevated position.
Landscaped gardens make way for white-sand beaches offering a calm and relaxing backdrop for your luxury stay on Anguilla. However, if you’re more of an active traveller, you’ll be spoilt for choice by all there is to do here, including scuba diving, sailing, paddle boarding and a championship golf course nearby.
Accommodation at Malliouhana is bright, light and spacious, with large windows showcasing the blue skies and sea on the horizon and state of the art facilities inclusive of in-room iPads.
The resort’s signature restaurant, The Restaurant at Malliouhana is a feast for the taste buds, using fresh local ingredients with Caribbean flair. The Sunset Bar meanwhile offers a prime position with one of the best vantage points on the island and traditional afternoon tea is served up in fine style; a very elegant affair.
Spa
For those who really want to ‘get away from it all’, the resort’s Auberge Spa provides a haven of tranquillity using natural products. Signature treatments include the Warm Shell Massage, where shells filled with lava and saltwater are used to relieve muscle tension. Bliss!
Sustainability Initiatives & Responsible Tourism
Auberge Resorts has committed to improving the lives of local people in the surrounding area by introducing the Enriching Lives programme. This provides learning opportunities and raises money for non-profit organisations to help those in need.
In addition to this, Malliouhana, Auberge Resorts Collection works closely with the AAR primary school to improve their sustainability efforts through organic farming. All the resources are provided to the children by the hotel, so that they can have the opportunity to learn and develop new skills in sustainable agriculture. All of which is taught by the hotel’s very own culinary team. This boosts the local children’s career prospects, as well as reduces the environmental impact on the island.
