Beginning in Queenstown or Te Anau, sink into the smooth leather seats of your 16-seater Mercedes as you move along the coast towards the mountains. Your vehicle includes panoramic windows and a glass roof so you can soak in the stunning views.
Queenstown guests trace the winding shore of Lake Wakatipu and head through the rolling hills of Southland farmland. After a couple of hours you'll reach the lakeside town of Te Anau, which is your gateway to the beautiful Fiordland National Park. Several stops are made at scenic viewpoints and trails for forest walks; you'll explore the glacier-carved valleys and the deep blue lakes, and hear the song of the takahe birds.
Once you’re in Milford Sound, switch to a small boat cruise across the fjord. Admire the waterfalls, the fur seals and penguins, and hear all about the history of the region from your expert guide. Your tour ends with another scenic drive, aircraft flight or helicopter ride back to Queenstown.
