Bask in the incredible beauty of New Zealand’s Doubtful Sound on this peaceful wilderness experience. You can enjoy seven hours of exploring in total, including a scenic cruise through the waterways of Doubtful Sound.
Those starting in Queenstown board a coach and travel along the shores of Lake Wakatipu. Follow the rolling countryside to Manapouri, and travel across the lake towards West Arm. From here, board a coach and cross through the alpine route of Wilmot Pass, through some of Fiordland’s most incredible rainforests. In Deep Cove, climb aboard a modern catamaran vessel to kick off your relaxing cruise through Doubtful Sound, admiring the waterfalls, mountains, and mighty rainforest out towards the Tasman Sea.
Your expert guide will provide insightful commentary along the way, including stories of the region’s history and flora and fauna. As you return to shore, your guide will briefly turn the catamaran’s engines off to let you relish a moment of complete silence.
