Perched on a 5.5-acre garden, this historic boutique hotel features six elegantly designed suites that offer picturesque views and a relaxing atmosphere to unwind in. Sarah Mellor and her family are the dedicated private owners of the former Bishop’s residence, Pihopa Retreat, and they have perfected every detail to provide complete tranquillity. Each suite features comforting furnishings as well as a balcony that allows for calming mornings soaking up the views and fresh air of the South Island. From here, you'll have views over the historic chapel, main residence and the pool area. Plus, you can indulge on the delightful treats from your fully-stocked in-room mini bar.
