Your journey starts from the moment you park your car in the secluded parking bay; be sure to pack lightly, because you’ll be hiking for around 15-20 minutes through the scenic native bush to make it to your pod. Alternatively, you can opt for a breathtaking helicopter ride from Kaikoura with the option of whale watching from above. Either way, you’re treated to some of New Zealand’s most picturesque sites.

The pods are the perfect option to add to a busy itinerary or an adventurous honeymoon – spend a couple of nights here to stop, switch off and rejuvenate.
