Explore the breathtaking volcanoes of Rotorua on this scenic one-hour flight. Departing from the Rotorua City Lakefront, you’ll enjoy amazing aerial views of crater lakes, Tarawera Falls and the Waimangu and Wai-O-Tapu geothermal reserves.

The spectacular Tarawera Falls is a 35m high waterfall on the Tarawera River that flows out of Lake Tarawera, and across a lava flow that erupted from Mt Tarawera roughly 11,000 years ago. It’s one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the region – and a truly memorable sight to behold. The geothermal reserves are similarly stunning natural wonders, now protected as scenic reserves and popular tourist attractions.

Admire these natural wonders from the comfort of your seats on board, and then land on the peak of Mount Tarawera. From here you can enjoy panoramic views of the vast landscape below, which stretches out to the mighty Pacific Ocean.
