Discover the outstanding natural beauty of the Island of Tahiti on this full day open-back 4WD mountain adventure. You will travel to the islands east coast and along the Papeno’o Valley to the centre of the island where you will explore the Tahiti crater. Here you will find lush vegetation, giant ferns, and a myriad of colourful plants. Continue to the basalt tunnel for extraordinary views and on to the beautiful Lake Vaihiria. Your 4x4 will take you over rivers from where you can admire Tahiti's waterfalls and misty mountains. You guide will take you to archaeological sites, teach you more about the local flora and fauna and stop for a refreshing swim in the river or freshwater basins. A lunch stop is scheduled (lunch at your own expense)
