Hotel information
An extraordinary boutique hotel in Fiji with unrivalled access to one of the world’s finest coral reefs, the Great Astrolabe, Kokomo Private Island Resort is at once stylish, exclusive, family-friendly and romantic too.
A contemporary haven of a hotel, Kokomo has been expertly designed with sleek, spacious interiors and modern art throughout, utilising sustainable, locally-sourced materials and tasteful takes on Fijian styles to create a sumptuous South Pacific escape.
It is found on the private island of Kokomo in the Kadavu Archipelago, encircled by the world’s fourth-largest coral reef – Great Astrolabe – which can be explored on an introductory diving experience, courtesy of the hotel.
Kokomo goes on to offer a tropical spa, 21 elegant Beachfront Villas and five lavish Residences, all exhibiting that stylish look with wide views of the ocean. Meanwhile, the waterfront restaurants source their delicious fare from the hotel’s very own farm; 5.5 acres of organic vegetables, herbs, fruit and even a vanilla plantation.
In fact, as part of the exclusive Kokomo experience, all meals and non-alcoholic drinks are included in your stay, so feast to your heart’s content on delectable dishes at Beach Shack, Walker D’Plank and Kokocabana. You then have non-motorised activities to try, while families also enjoy complimentary nanny service during the daytime and access to the kid's clubs; all making your time at Kokomo Private Island Resort as convenient as it is blissful and unashamedly indulgent.
Room Options
The accommodation at Kokomo Private Island Resort in Fiji is simply divine. Peppered across the island’s coastline and lush interior are 21 Beachfront Villas and five Luxury Residences, each emanating a beautiful style that is distinctly Fijian yet utterly contemporary and sleek, awash with wooden accents, light colour schemes and vibrant works of art. Importantly, they all look out towards the ocean too. Meanwhile, mod-cons come thick and fast in the form of infinity pools, furnished sundecks, king-size beds, kitchenettes, freestanding tubs, rain showers, walk-in wardrobes and plush furnishings; you’ll want for nothing here.
Beachfront Villa
- View Floor Plan Luxury beach living is the order of the day for guests of Kokomo’s Beachfront Villas, whose exquisitely designed, open-plan spaces will make it hard to ever leave. All are beautifully adorned indoors and out – though some are spread over two levels rather than one – and star lush gardens with inviting sundecks, infinity pools, kitchens, living rooms (sometimes multiple), dining areas, games room...Facilities/Amenities
Although each guestroom boasts a private infinity pool, there’s another main pool at Kokomo Private Island Resort which is lined with loungers and the Kokocabana bar. Among Fijian-inspired massages and soothing treatments, practitioners conduct watsu and naturopathic therapies.

Activities & Entertainment
Kokomo Private Island Resort is not just for beachfront relaxation – it’s also an adventure playground in Fiji with boundless activities to take advantage of. Naturally, this is the perfect place to enjoy watersports like kayaking, deep sea fishing, surfing, sailing, stand-up paddle boarding, and of course snorkelling or diving one of the world’s most picturesque coral reefs. You can also jump off into the sea from a floating trampoline, embark on a sunset cruise, go on day trips to nearby islands, visit local villages, tour the Kokomo farm, discover hidden waterfalls and learn about Fijian traditions and culture. Of course, kids are well looked after here too; they can make friends in the Kaji Club (for under 8s) or Teens Club (under 14s).
