Full accommodation information

Well aware of its glamorous surroundings, famous fashion outlets and nearby cocktail bars, the InterContinental Perth City Centre hotel certainly looks and feels the sophisticated part.

Not least the Loft Lounge Bar - Serving up high tea in the afternoon and lip-smacking cocktails at night in either a chic main room or even better – out on the terrace overlooking central Perth – at least one afternoon or evening here is a must.

Onsite Ascua restaurant also offers something special: a Spanish-themed fine-dining eatery that’s known around these parts for its delectable seafood dishes and mouth-watering steaks, griddled to perfection atop a sizzling wood-fired grill in Ascua’s open-plan kitchen.

Gastronomy aside, there’s not an overly long list of further in-house facilities, yet you will find a modern gym and salon while staying at InterContinental Perth City Centre hotel, plus babysitting and concierge services if you need them and additional Club Level extras if booking certain Executive Rooms or Suites. Indeed those accommodation options are a major part of the appeal too, on top of the property’s prime location and roof terrace.

Although relatively modest in size, every room is beautifully decorated in bespoke artworks and neutral colour tones, well-equipped with an espresso machine and walk-in rain shower as well as enjoying lots of light and accompanying views, thanks to huge windows on at least one of the walls. Higher category options do then provide a comfortable lounge area, standalone bathtub and bigger floorplans, though all are just as thoughtfully decorated as each other.

In a nutshell, booking a room at the InterContinental Perth City Centre hotel simply means great access to King Street and beyond, a top cocktail bar and five-star restaurant onsite, immaculate interiors befitting of their upmarket setting, and a well-drilled concierge who will take care of everything else – a winning combination for your luxury Australia holiday.

Guestrooms at the InterContinental Perth City Centre hotel are relatively modest in size, though are packed full of all the in-room amenities you’ll need during your stay such as a king-size bed; deluxe walk-in rain shower (plus a standalone bathtub in some of the higher category Executive Rooms and Suites); an espresso machine; Wi-Fi throughout; plush robes; and large windows for great views of Perth, particularly from the upper floors. Certain Executive Rooms and Suites then come with Club InterContinental benefits, exclusive lounge access and personal concierge services. If staying in one of these rooms you will also benefit from an increased floorplan, separate lounge area in the Suites and superior views too.

Classic Room

Classic Room

Nicely modern, coming with all the InterContinental in-room extras and available with either one king-size or twin beds, the Classic Room is a good bet as it makes excellent use of all available space, coming with a seating area besides its huge windows and luxe bathroom too.
Executive Room

Executive Room

Executive Rooms at InterContinental Perth tend to be on the upper floors, so you may well benefit from superior views if booking one, as well as Club Level benefits and lounge access, two double beds and in some, a standalone bathtub plus walk-in rain shower.
Suite

Suite

Being at least 50% bigger (430sq ft) than the Executive Room, Suites do offer plenty more space, plus the chance for a corner location in the building and better views through two oversized windows as a result. These king rooms also come with Club Level benefits.
Penthouse Suite

Penthouse Suite

The Penthouse Suite enjoys stunning views of Perth from multiple floor-to-ceiling windows and an enhanced 850sq ft floorplan, easily large enough for a lounge area and luxe bathroom – Club Level benefits also come as standard in this top room category.
Ascua

Ascua

Taking its cuisine cues firmly from the finest offerings to come out of Spain, the refined and very urbane looking Ascua restaurant proudly boasts an open-plan kitchen and wood-fired grill which is used to sizzle your bacon in the morning, and sear your steak at night. Get ready for heady aromas, big flavours and perfectly paired wines, quality olives and oils from Spain plus truly mouth-watering seafood dishes on top of those classic prime cuts.

The Loft Lounge and Bar

The Loft Lounge and Bar

The Loft at InterContinental Perth is as good as any central Perth cocktail bar, looking the part with its polished interiors and endless top-end drinks menu, though also benefitting from a super-stylish outdoor terrace that’s peppered with comfy contemporary sofas, and overlooks King Street below. During the day, you can head here for a five-star high tea of artistic homemade cakes and sweets, or wait until the evening for a cocktail and light bite as the sun begins to set over the city.

One of the main draws when staying at the InterContinental Perth City Centre hotel is its location; as the property’s name quite rightly suggests you’re in the heart of the action here! Immediately next door are some of Perth’s best designer boutiques, so shopaholics will be more than happy, though there’s also His Majesty’s Theatre plus plenty of artisan coffee houses, funky bars and fine restaurants all around. Central Station is then within a couple of minutes’ walk, so Kings Park, Cottesloe Beach, Adventure World and all the other highlights of Perth can be reached in no time at all, while anyone visiting on a romantic break may want nothing more than to sip cocktails in the hotel’s classy lounge bar each evening.
