Embark on an epic transcontinental crossing travelling 2704 miles from Perth, Western Australia to Sydney, New South Wales aboard the Indian Pacific. Follow in the footsteps of legendary adventurers, goldrush prospectors and bush pioneers who dared leave the city limits to forge their lives in Australia’s spectacular yet unforgiving interior.
You will spend four days, three nights aboard the Indian Pacific, travelling through the picturesque rolling hills of the Avon Valley, across the spectacular expanse of the Nullarbor Plain and along the longest single stretch of railway in the world.
Enjoy off train experiences in Kalgoorlie, Rawlinna (seasonal), Cook, Adelaide and the Blue Mountains. Explore Kargoorlie's 'Super Pit', the world's largest open cut mine at over two miles long and one mile wide. Stop at Cook, a railway ghost town hidden in the vast interior of South Australia. A variety of experiences are available in Adelaide including Adelaide Hills scenic drive or a behind the doors tour of Adelaide Oval. Before pulling into Sydney, alight in the Blue Mountains for views of The Three Sisters, Katoomba Falls and Jamison Valley. Onboard you will enjoy comfortable accommodation, exceptional service and Australian hospitality, all-inclusive meals, a regionally-inspired menu paired with a selection of local wines.
