Hotel information
The hotel’s design is inspired by ‘The Lanes’ 1880s to 1920s warehouses and the thriving garment trade of Flinders Lane, which is now home to boutique designer stores, loft apartments and trendy hotels.
Melbourne is undoubtedly Australia’s most creative city; this is evident in the area surrounding QT Melbourne and even within the hotel, where you’ll discover an eclectic collection of artwork on display throughout. The neighbourhood has narrow laneways with graffiti-painted walls and is bursting with galleries, cafés and bars.
The hotel’s public areas are an eccentric blend of industrial steel, stone, bronze and timber, with bright bold colour accents and neon light displays. Staff wear quirky stylised uniforms. The 188 rooms and suites follow two colour schemes of deep electric blue and yellow gold or turquoise and red, complete with designer furniture, black slate bathrooms and luxurious bespoke QT Gel Beds.
Light bites, lunchtime baguettes and freshly made pastries and sweet treats are served at The Cake Shop. The bustling open kitchen of Pascale Bar and Grill serves an expansive menu of European Bistro-inspired dishes, while the bar is a popular late-night social hotspot. Head to the top floor for one of Melbourne’s largest rooftop bars, Rooftop at QT where you can enjoy the views of Melbourne’s city centre while sipping cocktails or your favourite drink.
