Hotel information
The Park Hyatt Melbourne is found right in the heart of Victoria’s capital, rubbing shoulders with historic buildings like Parliament House in the Central Business District. Given this superb location, it’s wonderfully easy to wander right from the hotel to much of Melbourne’s highlights, including restaurants, bars, art galleries and museums. What’s more, many rooms and suites look out over the Fitzroy Gardens or St Patrick’s Cathedral, providing an attractive backdrop for when you’re taking some downtime at the resort.
These guestrooms are delightfully spacious – some of the largest in Melbourne, no doubt – and exude upscale, contemporary luxury with their caramel and copper tones, elegant marble bathrooms and floor-to-ceiling windows. The timeless sophistication that characterises their design can also be seen in the Park Hyatt’s communal spaces, such as the grand, art deco-style lobby and two restaurants: Radii and The Lounge & Garden, the latter overlooking an interior terrace.
Finally, one of the Park Hyatt’s greatest assets is its wellness centre, featuring a large indoor pool, Jacuzzi, steam rooms, saunas, gym and tennis court, plus a spa for a spot of pampering while you’re away.
Room Options
One of the most striking things about the Park Hyatt Melbourne’s guestrooms is how spacious they are, starting at 48sq m – which is very large indeed for a city centre hotel! You can also opt for accommodation with access to the Park Lounge, found on the 19th floor and offering complimentary light bites and drinks.

The hotel’s main restaurant, Radii, serves a delicious breakfast to start the day, then high tea come afternoon (weekends only) and Australian cuisine for dinner. You might want to start with a charcuterie or cheese sharing platter, fresh oysters or gazpacho, then choose from wood-fired seafood like yellowfin tuna and barramundi or a hearty grilled meat dish, such as lamb rump or pork chops.
