The area is a wine connoisseur’s dream, home to over 100 wineries and 70 boutique cellar doors open to the public. Gourmands are also treated to incredible dining experiences in the Barossa Valley, with several award-winning and hatted restaurants in the region.
Although the main draw to the Barossa Valley is food and wine, there is plenty more on offer -including early morning hot air balloon flights over the vineyards, scenic helicopter flights, cycling and hiking, or tours to the Barossa Conservation Park; enjoy a picnic-style breakfast surrounded by kangaroos also enjoying their breakfast.
