Hotel information
Surrounded by the vineyards and sweeping views of the Barossa Valley, the Barossa Shiraz Estate is a collection of six private cottages that puts you in the heart of one of Australia’s premier wine growing regions.
Close to Adelaide, it’s a great base for exploring the neighbouring wine regions of Clare Valley, McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills, and can be twinned with its sister property (Rawnsley Park Station) in the Flinders Ranges for a vines-to-mountains experience.
Perfect for couples and independent travellers, the accommodation is self-catering in six private and unique cottages. All have an outdoor dining space for making the most of epic vineyard views, with cosy living spaces and large en suite bedrooms inside.
Although Barossa Shiraz Estate doesn’t have any restaurants on site, there are plenty within walking distance or a short drive away. In fact, the region is renowned for its gourmet food experiences, complementing its legendary wine tasting and vineyard tours. Your cottage will also be stocked with plenty of breakfast provisions from local providers, as well as a bottle wine (of course!) and cheese from the Barossa Valley Cheese Company.
And it’s not just a destination for wine-lovers here. Make the short transfer to see stunning lavender fields, or hire bikes and take the 10km circular route to Sandy Creek Conservation Park.
