This all-singing, all-dancing hotel has something for just about everyone, and whatever you can’t find here is bound to be available in the Sanctuary Cove Marina on the Gold Coast. Within five minutes you could find yourself at an art gallery, restaurant, café or theatre, or otherwise take a ten-minute drive to reach any of three much-loved theme parks: Warner Bros Movie World, Dreamworld or Wet ‘n’ Wild.
The InterContinental Sanctuary Cove itself is a stately resort comprising lush gardens, beautiful fountains and the grand Great House, with five restaurants, bars and cafés to choose from. This BBQ grill restaurant is a refined place specialising in local meat and seafood, prepared over a wood fire for that distinctive smoky taste. Choose from an a la carte menu or six-course tasting menu, paired with a fine wine from the cellar which features no less than 300 varieties! In addition, come to The Fireplace earlier in the day for their signature High Coffee, combining beautifully crafted sweet and savoury snacks with a caffeine hit.

Sanctuary Cove is a real playground for kids and adults alike, with the Marine Village just a couple of minutes away on foot. Explore the many restaurants, cafés, bars, shops, art galleries and the theatre here, or have a go at sailing the Gold Coast Broadwater. There are then three theme parks within a ten-minute drive – Warner Bros Movie World, Dreamworld and Wet ‘n’ Wild Water Park – not to mention two golf courses at the InterContinental Sanctuary Cove itself. Take your pick between The Palms and The Pines, the former designed by Ross Watson and the latter by Arnold Palmer, or have a go at both! On top of this, the resort is a big hit with children, not only with its kids’ club and two swimming pools, but also the Illusions Magic Show that takes place every weekend.
