Full accommodation information

In the heart of Australia’s Red Centre, distinctive soaring white sails shade the 228-room Sails in the Desert Hotel.

The culture of the local Anangu people has been interwoven into design features throughout the hotel, where modern rooms decorated in natural tones are complemented by indigenous artwork.

Indulge in spa and body treatments at Sails in the Desert’s Red Ochre Spa and relax on the lawns by the expansive gumtree-lined heated swimming pool. Dining options include the poolside Pira Pool Bar serving burgers, sharing plates and salads, alongside a tantalising international menu of seafood, an assortment of pasta, classic Asian dishes and grill selections.

The Mulgara Gallery showcases Indigenous arts and crafts, including original dot-paintings, pottery and hand-crafted jewellery. Complimentary activities on offer at Ayers Rock Resort include listening to Aboriginal storytellers, learning about bush tucker and guided walks through the resort’s native gardens. Signature experiences include dining under the stars at the Sounds of Silence dinner and watching the desert colours change as daylight breaks on the Desert Awakenings Tour.
