Desert Gardens Hotel is located at Ayers Rock Resort in Australia’s Red Centre, comprising 218 elegant and fresh rooms within a native garden oasis setting.
Choose from Garden View Rooms shaded under a canopy of towering gum trees, or Deluxe Rock View Rooms, Ayers Rock Resort’s only rooms with views towards Uluru.
As a guest of Desert Gardens Hotel, you can experience a wide range of complimentary activities, including visits to Wintjiri Arts and Museum to view Anangu products, listen to Aboriginal storytellers talking about local bush tucker, and head out on guided garden walks.
The resort features its own swimming pool and two restaurants, Mangata Bistro and Bar and Arnguli Grill and Restaurant. Mangata serves a delicious buffet breakfast and light dishes such as pasta, salads and tapas for lunch and dinner. Arnguli overlooks the central pool and garden offering an extensive menu and signature grill selection in an intimate setting. There are other dining options available just a 10-minute walk away at Ayers Rock Resort town square, including Ayers Wok Noodle Bar, Gecko’s Café and Kulata Academy Café where trainees from the National Indigenous Training Academy take their first steps in learning skills in the hospitality industry.
Red Ochre Spa is located at Voyages Sails in the Desert Hotel and is available for guests at any of the hotels in Ayers Rock Resort. There is a whole host of experiences available in the Ayers Rock Resort area, including tours to watch the sunrise and sunset over Uluru and Kata Tjuta formations and romantic dining experiences such as Sounds of Silence, where you dine al fresco under the stars. Cultural experiences include dot painting workshops and guided tours to Cave Hill, providing an insight into everyday Aboriginal life.
