Hotel information
Crystalbrook Byron is set within 45 acres of sub-tropical rainforest, moments from Tallow Beach and less than 10 minutes’ drive to the centre of Byron Bay.
Start your day with a complimentary yoga class on the outdoor deck.
Each Tuesday, after a leisurely breakfast, explore the natural beauty of the resort on a guided walk along a network of rainforest boardwalks; alternatively guide yourself around your beautiful surrounds any day, any time. If you are simply looking to relax, you can recline on one of the poolside loungers or float in the 25-metre infinity pool while watching birds flit about the forest canopy. Be pampered at the day spa, work out in the gym or unwind in the heated spa pool or poolside sauna.
The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with menus inspired by locally produced ingredients sourced from local farmers markets. Each Thursday morning you can accompany the head chef to Byron Farmers Market where you can meet local producers and help source the ingredients for that night’s Market Dinner menu.
Byron Bay is a relaxed beach resort popular with surfers and those seeking adventure. There is a whole range of activities available here, such as mountain biking, sea kayaking, learning to surf or watch dolphins frolicking in the waves. Follow Cape Byron walking track along beaches and clifftops to Cape Byron Lighthouse for spectacular panoramic coastal views; from June until November you may see humpback whales breaching offshore. The hinterland is dotted with quaint farming villages such as Nimbin, a colourful bohemian town of pavement cafés, art galleries and craft shops. Rolling hills are covered in ancient rainforests where hiking opportunities abound in places such as the World Heritage-listed Gondwana rainforests.
