You can join guided breathwork sessions and singing bowl meditations, plus yin and hatha yoga sessions.

Of course, the Orchid Spa is a haven of relaxation, too. Walk below the leafy canopy and along gurgling streams to be welcomed with hot tea before your deeply calming experience. Choose from a selection of massages and body and facial treatments inspired by traditional Vietnamese medicine, herbs and oils - from stress-fighting cinnamon to tension-relieving lemongrass.

Avana Retreat has a strong commitment to protecting the environment, local community and the region's authentic culture. It's ethos is to care for nature, a belief you'll see come to life in the thriving wildlife across the resort's grounds.

90% of resort staff are local people and no single-use plastics are used by the resort - all cups, bags and other utensils are created from eco-friendly materials such as cornstarch, bamboo and paper.

Food is sourced by the chef from the local market, located just ten minutes away, or grown in the organic herb garden. The resort is also home to 300 birds, who are well cared for and supply free range organic eggs.
