Hotel information
Probably the most luxurious and glamorous resort on Samui, the Four Seasons Koh Samui is located on the North West coast at Laem Yai Bay, just 30 minutes from the airport.
Built on the side of a hill, overlooking a small cove beach, the 60 free-standing villas all have panoramic views. This is one of the most scenic and unspoilt parts of the island and the resort takes full advantage of the spectacular setting and definitely worthy of a spot on our 10 jaw-dropping millionaire getaways.
As featured in The Millionaires' Holiday Club, the resort has been sympathetically designed and built in keeping with the natural environment. Each villa opens onto an amphitheatre of sky, sea and islands and has its own private plunge pool. Blending into the tropical landscape it spills down the terraced hillside to a private beach where guests can relax, enjoy a swim in the infinity-edge pool, or partake in watersports.
It would not be suitable for those with walking problems or who find steep hills prohibiting, although a buggy service links the villas to the central facilities, most of which are located down by the beachfront or right at the top of the cliff face with the ‘welcome sala’, reception and the spa. Some of the resort's daily activities include beach volleyball, Muay Thai boxing, snorkelling trip, trimaran, kayaking, Thai cooking class and Thai massage classes
The Forest Spa offers centuries-old healing techniques in five tranquil salas. Fine dining in this gourmet paradise includes the stunning hillside Lan Tania restaurant or the more casual, beachside Pla Pla, as well as private dining options.
Each oversized bedroom has all of the modern amenities including an outdoor living area with patio and a private pool. The Residence Villas are closer to the beach with extra living space and are particularly suited to families with a selection of One through to Five Bedroom Residences available. The Serenity Pool Villas have one bedroom and plunge pool, whilst the Premier Ocean View Pool Villas have larger pools.
