Nestled into its own private bay in the south of Koh Samui, this luxury hotel revives the tranquillity and beauty of traditional Thai hospitality.

Spread out over a cascading hillside that gently slopes down to the resort’s secluded beach, each one of the stilted villas offers a taste of old-style Thai architecture. Nothing has been overlooked and the entire resort is beautifully camouflaged with the natural landscape. Each of the 88 villas boasts its own private infinity pool along with amazing vistas across the bay or gardens. The décor is neutral with dark wood beams reminiscent of a traditional Thai village.

Aside from the white-sand beach, the resort has a plethora of amenities including an excellent spa that offers a range of treatments by highly-qualified therapists. There is also The Rainforest, Samui’s first and only hydrotherapy spa experience to opt for. For a more energetic stay, spend some time in the fully-equipped gym or yoga studio.

The resort’s restaurants range from authentic Thai at the signature Banyan Tree restaurant, Saffron. The Edge offers an international breakfast buffet and for more casual dining head to Sands right on the beach for wood-oven specialities.

Deluxe Pool Villas are incredibly spacious with high ceilings and contemporary Asian decor. They feature a separate living room and bedroom, a private pool and decking area with views over the resort towards the ocean.

Ocean View Pool Villa

The same in size and decor as the Deluxe Pool Villas but offering sweeping ocean views.

Spa Sanctuary Pool Villa

Sanctuary Pool Villas feature a second bedroom with twin beds, spacious sundeck and outdoor jet pool (in addition to the private pool). It also comes complete with its own private spa treatment room.

Horizon Hillcrest Pool Villa

The same in decor as the Deluxe Pool Villas, but with a slightly larger outdoor deck area. The Hillcrest Pool Villas are located higher up the hillside offering maximum privacy and impressive views.
