An intimate and refined resort nestled into one of Koh Lanta Yai’s finest beaches, Layana Resort & Spa is an adults-only resort that offers the ideal romantic break in Thailand whether you want to relax or enjoy the activities on offer.
For the ultimate in relaxation, guests can head to the Linger Longer Spa where an extensive treatment menu awaits. Also, there is the new wellness zone complete with a gym, wellness pool, half Olympic-size swimming pool and a brand new healthy juice bar.
The resort offers 57 guest rooms, villas and suites all set around the glorious beachfront setting. The feel is island chic with neutral hues accented with turquoise and browns. Each offers spacious accommodation and an inviting place to retreat to after a day in the sun.
The dining scene is exciting with the beachy vibe – SeaSky is set on the beachfront and offers formal restaurant dining with a range of Thai and International dishes. Later, Sundowner Bar is the ideal spot to watch the beautiful Thai sunset.

Ocean Deluxe Villa
Ocean Deluxe Villas are set back from the beach. These Suites offer 88 sqm of space, laid out over two storeys, with an open upstairs sala (living area) commanding 270-degree views. Compete with desk, daybed and minibar upstairs, in good weather, it’s possible to sleep “under the stars” with only a net to protect against unwelcome mosquitoes.
La Maison
The La Maison two bedroom pool villa is an impressive 265 square metres of space and boasts two bedrooms, three bathrooms, a living and dining room surrounded by ceiling height french doors that open out onto a 60 square metre outdoor swimming pool and sun deck. The villa is equipped with its own private kitchen and BBQ. Along with exclusive in villa amenities, your private butler will be available to cater to your every whim.
Beach Villa
Single-storeyed units perched on the edge of the beach overlooking the sea and the pool. Room layouts are similar to that of the Garden Pavilions although they are slightly larger (59 sqm) and additionally feature an open-air shower and a private lounge with outdoor seating.
Garden Pavilion
Garden Pavilion rooms, offering 49 square metres of living space, are located in 11 separate two-storey units, each with four guestrooms, nestled within landscaped gardens, commanding garden and mountain views.Facilities/Amenities
Honeymoon
The Layana is an adult-only resort making it the perfect destination for your honeymoon.
Honeymoon couples may enjoy staying in the Ocean Deluxe Suites at the Layana, set away from the beach. These are two-storey accommodations with an open living area upstairs with a 270-degree view. There is also a daybed with a mosquito net where you could sleep outdoors in the day or night. There are also the Beach Suites which are single storey units on the edge of the beach for those seeking a smaller accommodation or a location closer to the beach.
Guests can dine at the SeaSky Restaurant at the Layana Resort which is positioned on the edge of the beach and delicious food can be enjoyed indoors or outdoors. The restaurant features fresh international and Thai dishes including, seafood specialities. The Sundowners Bar is open all day and here cocktails and drinks can be enjoyed. There is a Sunset Hour at 6-7pm which is a perfect time to mingle with other guests if you so wish or just enjoy a specially priced cocktail.
The Layana Resort has an infinity salt water swimming pool and a large Jacuzzi where you can spend your time relaxing with your loved one. The following activities are also available, please note that some are seasonal; kayaking, mountain biking, Hobie catting, boat trips, snorkelling trips, scuba diving, elephant trekking, romantic sunset cruises, cooking lessons and weekly complimentary wine tasting. If you are seeking further relaxation and rejuvenation on your honeymoon, visit the Layana Resort’s Linger Longer Spa where you can enjoy both luxury Eastern and Western treatments.
