Hotel information
Dropped in the midst of the nine-kilometre white-sand beach, Aava is the brainchild of a Scandinavian couple and this is evident throughout the complex.
Cool design meets friendly Thai service leaving an incredible fusion of cultures.
Aava has just 28 rooms, each romantic and cosy in style with flat roofs and neutral décor – some even have plunge pools. The real draw is the Aava Spa here though.
Created to harmoniously fuse ancient Thai techniques with modern treatments, this spa has an ample treatment menu and all therapies are administered by fully-qualified and experienced therapists. There is also a weekly wellness programme offering yoga, Pilates, tai chi, Muay Thai, meditation and stretching classes.
The onsite restaurant, Aalto, is a romantic and intimate fine-dining experience on the beach.
Expect European influences mixed with Asian delights. For something a little more casual, try Aava Pizzeria & Bakery. The charming little restaurant provides traditional wood-fired pizzas, freshly baked bread and scrumptious pastries.
