Dwarika's Resort Dhulikhel is a holistic lifestyle retreat with a real focus on the harmony of your body, mind, spirit and the earth, the hotel has drawn up ancient Himalayan knowledge and philosophy as well as Hindu scriptures and Buddhist medicine to create a spiritual and special place.
Built with stone, wood and earth, Dwarika’s Resort Dhulikhel has been created with a real emphasis on the environment. Bathroom fittings were made without chemicals, water is re-harvested, there is solar lighting and the hotel believes in making a difference to the society and Nepal. Suites are spacious and decorated in a rustic style. Junior Suites have an outdoor living space or shared deck whilst Executive Suites have a private garden or roof terrace. Royal Suites have views from one of the highest points in the resort and also, a private kitchen.
Whether you’re looking for a healing retreat or a relaxing holiday, there is plenty available at Dwarika’s Resort. There is an Ayurvedic doctor and naturopathy expert, Buddhist medicine healers, yoga teachers, a Buddhist monk and a Hindu priest. Relax in the Himalayan salt room to strengthen your immune system, visit the meditation maze, the chakra sound chambers are each dedicated to the chakras and there is also a Navagraha Vana. Activities at the hotel include pottery, yoga, block printing, cooking and hiking.
There are three restaurants at the Dwarika’s Resort which use fresh, seasonal and local produce.
