Hotel information
The resort is located between a stunning white-sand beach, verdant rolling hills and the quaint harbour, and boasts 125 rooms and suites. Each one embodies a contemporary décor making use of the stunning views through the floor-to-ceiling windows. A neutral colour palette complete with rich reds and gold in its soft furnishings ensures comfort and style unite harmoniously.
As far as outdoor activities go, The Danna Langkawi Resort & Beach Villas seems to have the right balance. Guests can relax in the impressive three-tiered swimming pool which is the largest on the island and comes complete with children’s pool and Jacuzzi. They can also take to the white-sand beach, or leave the children in the kids’ club while they spend an afternoon in the spa. A fitness club and an array of water sports are also available for those who require a little more action.
The resort’s location means there is a good supply of restaurants nearby, however, the hotel’s offerings are definitely not to be missed. The Planters serves daily buffet breakfast with bubbly, and fine dining European-Malayan cuisine in the evening. Straits & Co offers snacks and lunch options with its English Afternoon Tea being the real draw, while The Verandah is ideal for a pre or post dinner drink, with an extensive menu of cocktails, wines and spirits.
