Situated in a privileged location 7,000 feet high in the Himalayas, The Oberoi Cecil is over 100 years old, having been built originally as a Himalayan hill station and reopened in 1987 as a grand heritage hotel from the Oberoi brand.
Centred around an atrium, this luxury hotel has all the charm of the colonial era with wooden floors and lovely furniture. Accommodations include Deluxe Rooms, Premier Rooms, Deluxe Suites and Luxury Suites, all of which are furnished in an elegant style and equipped with a television, DVD player, walk-in closet, safe, telephone and stocked mini bar.
The Oberoi Cecil has an indoor heated pool, a retreat after visiting the ancient monasteries, and a signature Oberoi Spa. Here enjoy Ayurvedic, Hawaiian and Thai massages and beauty treatments. Other facilities include a gym, steam rooms and children’s activity centre. Dining at The Oberoi Cecil takes place in the restaurant, Cedar Garden and the lounge.
