Sustainability Initiatives & Responsible Tourism
Matetsi Victoria Falls is passionate about conserving their surrounding wilderness and has implemented steps in their conservation journey to safeguard their wildlife. They have introduced the clear-roads network to reduce poaching and introduced 16 solar powered boreholes to provide waterholes for the animals.
The lodge also contributes to the community by partnering with Greenline Africa Trust to work with the communities that are marginalised and vulnerable. They aim to implement and support sustainable projects concentrating on livelihoods and, health and education.
