Set in a picturesque valley, flanked by the Huguenot Mountains the Franschhoek Country House offers peace and relaxation in beautiful surroundings. The restored manor house which dates from 1890, is situated on the outskirts of town surrounded by vineyards and features 14 individually designed deluxe and luxury rooms.
There are additionally 12 new Provencal style villa suites with two balconies, a lounge with fireplace, sumptuous bathroom and impressive entertainment system. The property makes a perfect base from which to explore the wine growing area, whilst being just an hours drive from Cape Town. The in-house Monneaux Restaurant is rated as one of South Africa's best and serves an inspired fusion of Western and Eastern influences.
Although not located in the town centre, the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service, making Franschhoek Country House & Villas an excellent choice for all, and a peaceful retreat with a lovely setting and gardens. We recommend you pre-book a table at Monneaux Restaurant to avoid disappointment.

Garden cottages are ideal for families or those that are looking for extra space, they have a downstairs with an en suite bedroom and access to a lovely private patio, while upstairs there is a lounge with a sofa bed and a private balcony enjoying views over the surrounding vineyards.Standard Rooms
Located in the original manor house which dates back to 1890 these rooms have all been renovated to an exceptionally high standard and offer complete comfort and luxury.
