The exclusive Laird's Lodge is set on a 24-acre estate perfectly positioned in the heart of the Garden Route, only 5 miles from Plettenberg Bay and 12 miles from Knysna. This country house is the ideal getaway for gracious living, understated comfort and unsurpassed service.

Laird's Lodge offers easy access to unspoiled beaches, world-class golf courses, scenic nature and hiking trails and all the activities offered along the spectacular Garden Route. Each of the 17 high ceilinged rooms are elegantly decorated to convey a feeling of tranquillity.

Intimate evenings and fine dining, are the hallmark of every stay, boasting one of the finest menus along the Garden Route. Take in the spectacular mountain views in the distance, relax in wide-open spaces, laze by the swimming pool and enjoy everything the Garden Route has to offer during your time at Laird's Lodge.

Breakfast is served in a traditional dining room and for special occasions there is an option for dinner in the lodges's candle lit wine cellar.  Lairds Lodge also has a brandy lounge and The Monkey Bar for a night cap and for you to sample some of South Africa's excellent local wines.

Plettenberg Bay, locally known as "Plett", boasts a wide range of activities close by, including scenic hikes along the Robberg Nature Reserve with views of the seal colony. Whale and dolphin boat tours, Monkey Land and Birds of Eden.
