Located at the foot of the majestic Outeniqua Mountains, the legendary Fancourt Hotel and Country Club Estate is one of the premier golf resorts in the world. With four Gary Player designed 18 hole courses it is a magnet for golfers from far and wide. The estate is just 7km from George Airport in the heart of the Garden Route and the beautiful beach at Wilderness is just a ten minute drive from Fancourt.
Most of the rooms are spread along the edges of the golf courses offering tremendous views and a village feel. The resort offers a broad rage of facilities including an exceptional spa, indoor and outdoor pools and 4 restaurants all set within the 613 hectare Fancourt estate.
The old manor house, which dates from the beginning of the 19th century, is classified as a National Monument and sits amongst wooded parkland. It has been converted into a luxury boutique property within the Fancourt estate offering just 18 luxury suites set around a separate pool area and offering a private lounge area and easy access to Fancourts classic fine dining restaurant, Henry Whites.

Our Advice
- Fancourts location in the middle of the Garden Route, just an hours drive from Knysna make it an ideal base for spending a few days exploring the area.
- For beach lovers Wilderness beach, which is one of the best beaches on the Garden Route, is located just a 10 mintue drive from Fancourt Hotel.
