Ocean Suite

Located on the top floor of the property, the Ocean Suite offers showstopping views of the lagoon and is set over 75m². Perfect for couples, this suite also features an entrance hall, a beautifully-appointed lounge area, two separate toilets, a lagoon-facing bedroom with one king-size La Sultana Bed. It can also be accessed through a secured elevator.

Treehouse Suite

Embrace your inner child with a stay in the whimsical Treehouse Suite. Nestled in a tree with facing the lagoon, this architectural wonder is constructed almost entirely from wood and features a sitting area, a king-size La Sultana Bed, and a private terrace complete with Jacuzzi bath and sunbeds. La Sultana Oualidia offers a range of bespoke experiences that showcase Morocco's natural wonders and vibrant culture.

Embark on the hotel’s bird watching safari, where you’ll kayak up the lagoon to an essential ecological site for bird conservations. Here, you can encounter all manner of species, including pink flamingos, storks, herons and cormorants.

For thrill seekers, Oualidia is a renowned surf spot, welcoming wave riders of all skills levels, including kids as young as six – even the King’s children are known to surf these parts! Or if you prefer land-based activities, set off on a horse-riding adventure, taking you along the region’s scenic trails, either towards the charming beach of 'Les Tomates' or further along the lagoon to admire more of Morrocco’s Atlantic coastline.

Each Saturday, the weekly souk comes alive with locals, some traveling from 50km away by donkey or carriage. Spend an afternoon immersing yourself in authentic Moroccan life with its colourful array of seasonal produce, spices, olives, pottery and more. History buffs can also explore the UNESCO-listed Portuguese City of Mazagan (El Jadida), with its striking fortifications and Gothic architecture.

La Sultana Oualidia’s Conservation and Sustainability program is founded on several core environmental and cultural principles.

The resort strives to minimise waste and make the most of natural resources. This is particularly evident in its sourcing of local ingredients for its restaurants, which mainly come from the land and sea surrounding the property. Waste is managed through limiting single use items, like plastic straws, and recycling is practiced as much as possible. Food waste is supplied to a local farm in exchange for natural fertilizer and the resort is proudly 100% sustainable in its use of water.

La Sultana Oualidia’s conservation efforts are also aimed at preserving Moroccan heritage and supporting the local community. The building itself is made from local stone and is designed blend in with its natural surroundings. As a company, La Sultana also regularly donates to the national charity, Les Enfants de Dar Bouidar, which provides financial support for abandoned, orphaned or disabled children in Morocco.
