Located in the 5,700 acre Kimana Sanctuary, in the middle of Amboseli National Park, the privately owned Angama Amboseli is the first Maasai community-owned conservancy in Kenya. This super luxury lodge is a new addition to the Angama portfolio and is linked to the five National Parks and its diverse ecosystem. All the 10 detached suites are infused with a contemporary African chic that blends into the canvas of the landscape as they shelter under the forests fever trees.  The whole camp has been constructed to take full advantage of the views of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro. 

The concept of Angama Amboseli is tailored individually to guests, so you decide. With exclusive access to Kimana, guests can decide how long they would like to be on a drive and what times to leave or return for a unique customise safari experience. Equally meals are prepared to no set times so you can work to your own schedule. Pack a picnic and explore the neighbouring conservancies of the greater Amboseli, the Chyulu Hills and Tsavo West National Park. 

If you are wanting to slow down and catch your breath, take refuge at the lodges swimming pool or pamper yourself in your own suite with a relaxing massage.

Walking Safari

Take a walking safari in the Kimana with your expert guide who have incredible knowledge of the terrain, flora and fauna. Observe the smaller inhabitants up close, ideal for families or you can explore longer if that suits the mood.

Hot-air Balloon Safari

Admire Mount Kilimanjaro at eye-level and the Amboseli ecosystem from above on a hot-air balloon safari.
