Their suites and main camp are elevated on recycled railway sleeper decking, perfect for you to see the wildlife pass beneath you from the comfort of your private deck. Your suites are carefully designed to blend into the land for better chance of seeing the parading animals below.
Your suite is a perfect blend of 1920’s African décor and superb contemporary facilities from indulgent bathtubs to a welcoming plunge pool on your veranda. The main guest area is yours to unwind in with fellow African Safari lovers. Discuss your breathtaking findings of the day and feast on a delicious al fresco meal from the interactive kitchen, or relax with a drink in the cosy lounge area.
Your safari guide will be taking you to explore the wildlife that lives around the camp. From the predatory lions and leopards to the buffalo and lechwe, you won’t be short of fascinating encounters. In the heart of Botswana’s wilderness, your wildlife adventures can’t get any more extraordinary. The Duba Plains Camp is well-renowned for the unbelievable wildlife activities that they provide, with a wide range of diverse animals wandering past.
Venture further into the reserve with your guide in an open, 4x4 vehicle, or even on foot to see the lions and leopards lounging under the sunshine, or the elephants cooling off in the water. You might also encounter some Kalahari species including aardwolf and pangolins. You can even embark on a fascinating wildlife-viewing adventure with a sail along Okavango’s water by motorised boat or mekoro.
