Hotel information
With a design inspired by the beautiful water lily, &Beyond Xaranna Okavango Delta Camp is the definition of relaxation and wellness. All nine tented suites have their own plunge pools, indoor and outdoor showers and air-conditioning.
The lodge is set in 670,000 acres of private concession land within the Okavango Delta, allowing for walking activities as well as horseback safari excursions. Bird-watching here is remarkable with 450 bird species in the area, including Pel’s fishing owl.
The best way to discover the waterways is undoubtedly by mokoro, (a traditional dugout canoe manoeuvred by a knowledgeable ‘poler’), but other water-based excursions include fishing and motor-boat cruises.
Children are welcome here and the lodge provides an educational but fun program to keep the young ones entertained.
