Full accommodation information

The lodge’s rebuild has brought contemporary amenities and luxuries alongside sensitive construction that reflects the stunning natural surroundings.

The Delta is one of the world’s largest inland waterways, an oasis of life in the Kalahari Desert. As you can well imagine, the heli-tour of the delta from the camp is an awe-inspiring experience that offers the opportunity for fantastic photographs and gives you a true sense of the scale of this terrific expanse of water and life.

During your stay here you’ll be given a real taste of Africa at the Fish-Eagle Bar; watching the sunset over the Delta with a refreshing drink in hand. As with everything at the Eagle Island Lodge, A Belmond Safari, Botswana, the accommodation is sympathetically designed to be in keeping with the local surrounds, and your home will be a luxury tent raised on a wooden platform and shaded from the sun by a traditional thatch roof. After a long day’s exploring, your private deck will become a refuge to simply drink in the scenery or you can always take a dip in the Lodge pool.

Those looking to enhance the luxury safari experience still further can stay in the Lodge’s exclusive private suite; secluded and with its own splash pool.

Activities here include game viewing by horseback, helicopter tours, walking safaris, mokoro trips and 4x4 excursions. Stargazing, birdwatching and fishing are also optional for guests with special interests. In the evening, relax and enjoy the views across the Okavango Delta at the Fish Eagle Bar.

Facilities here include a library, minibar, complimentary Wifi and room to room telephones.
