Dan Acarnley

I arrived at the ITC Travel group in 2018 and oversee the group’s commercial activities across our marketing, product and technology divisions, having held similar roles across the travel industry. I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of a business where I am constantly reminded of the passion, enthusiasm and determination of our whole team to go the extra mile for our customers.

This is an incredibly exciting chapter in the Inspiring Travel story and I am delighted to be a part of it. We truly are a 'people' organisation and whilst I believe strongly that innovation can only enhance how we work with customers, suppliers and our staff alike, it all comes back to personal relationships, expertise and communication. These are many of the values that have underpinned the business from day one and will continue to see us move from strength to strength.

Travel is a real personal passion of mine. I crave the hustle and bustle of cities and for me, you just can't beat the sights, sounds and smells of Manhattan in New York, somewhere I have been fortunate enough to have visited on many occasions. My wife and I got married in Malaysia and we're very much looking forward to returning with our children so they too can fall in love with the lush rainforests, exotic wildlife and amazing food. For ultimate peace and serenity, I like to get away from it all in a beautiful car-less village high in the Swiss Alps, where I can truly relax… provided I've got Wifi that is!
