This quintessential Newport Mansion was a former Vanderbilt Hall built by Alfred Gwynne Vanderbilt in 1909 and has been restored to its former glory and beauty and has emerged as the Vanderbilt.

Newport is located on Rhode Island and easily accessible from New York and Boston. Newport is steeped in history and is famous for its Gilded Age mansions, many now open to the public as museums and art galleries.

This luxurious boutique hotel comprises 33 modern and airy rooms and suites offering views of either the Historic Hill neighbourhood, Trinity Church, Thames Street or Newport Harbour. The decor of each of the accommodations is modern, contemporary with a light pastel palette. The Loft Suites feature a master bedroom on the upper floor and separate living room and kitchenette on the lower floor whilst Superior Suites are on one level and feature a separate living room with kitchenette and can interconnect to other rooms to create Two Bedroom Suites.

Vanderbilt features two swimming pools, the indoor pool is located by the hotel's Spa and Fitness Centre whilst the outdoor pool is situated alongside the garden terrace and is a perfect sun trap in the summer. The Spa at Vanderbilt is a haven of peace and tranquillity with exquisite treatment rooms, sauna and steam showers.

The historic seaside town of Newport offers a range of chic restaurants including The Vanderbilt Grill, the hotel’s fine dining restaurant. The beautiful Conservatory at Vanderbilt offers casual dining in a lovely informal light airy setting with a nautical theme with model yachts around the room as a reminder of Newport's long association with America's Cup.
