As a tourism management graduate, I have always been passionate about travel. The best thing about travel is the sense of adventure, the exotic places you go and the friendly people you meet a long the way. I have over 20 years experience in the travel industry from travel agent to luxury tailor-made travel consultant. Every day you discover the unknown and make unforgettable memories
My travel specialism
I have been privileged enough to visit various countries across Europe, Middle East, Indian Ocean, Far East, USA and the Caribbean. I specialise in the Caribbean, where I have explored the most including Antigua, Barbados, St Lucia, St Vincent and more!
My most memorable travel experience
Anything with animals or beaches I just love, and when I visited Grand Cayman, the two were brought together. I swam with sting rays and enjoyed a horseback swim in the crystal-clear waters, it was one of the most unique and incredible experiences.
My visit to Iceland was another unforgettable travel experience. Seeing the northern lights was just magical.
My favourite destination: Antigua
I have travelled to many Caribbean islands, and I would say my favourite has to be Antigua, home to my favourite beach, Jumby Bay.
If you love beaches as I do, Antigua is the place to go! The island has 365 beaches, one for every day of the year. It’s very beach heavy where you can see the star fish in the clear water and even hatching turtle eggs. The beauty of this island is elevated by the friendly locals and fascinating wildlife from dolphins to marmoset monkeys.
My favourite hotel: Daios Cove
My favourite hotel is Daios Cove. Although the resort is incredibly family-friendly which was excellent for me and my little one, they also have an adults-only areas including a restaurant and pool.
Daios Cove is ideally placed nearby a lovely, sheltered beach, perfect for soaking up the sun and overlooking the picturesque views of sweeping turquoise ocean. Agios Nikolaos is just a 15-minute drive away from the resort, perfect for a family day out before heading back to our spacious, luxury villa.
